Jesuit Missions was founded in the 1960s and is the international development arm of the Jesuits in Britain. Lucy coordinates funded projects for the organisation and is the primary point of contact for partners on the ground. In this interview, she talks about the work, including supporting young girls in Darjeeling who have been trafficked, building girls dormitories at schools in South Sudan so the girls have a safe space to live and learn, and reconstruction projects which help women and girls in Zimbabwe and Mozambique affected by Cyclone Idai, including the building of female-friendly toilets.
